Who is Dave?
My approach to local government is simple:

For nearly 20 years, my wife, children, and I have been proud to call Woodstock home. My values are rooted in a lifetime of family history within this county—values that have led me to this moment, driven by a desire to give more to the community that has given us so much. I believe in a ‘Common Sense and Community First’ approach.
Growing up in a family business, I saw firsthand the grit and determination required to succeed,
even when it meant making difficult choices. After a brief time away to pursue a dream, my wife and I knew Woodstock was where we wanted to raise our family. Returning home, we launched our own business, navigating the complexities of international trade and logistics.
Through these challenges, I’ve learned that the best outcomes come from listening, welcoming
differing perspectives, and collaborating to find the right path forward for everyone.”

As only one voice of seven at the table, if elected, I would use my 20+ years of problem-solving experience to foster collaboration.
I weigh every decision against five core directives:
Keeping the books open and the budget lean to respect your tax dollars. I will scrutinize decisions for “efficiency” over “easy fixes” to reduce the waste in spending and create a higher value for your tax dollars.
Ensuring our emergency services have the tools and support they need to keep our families secure. I want to prioritize resource allocation for emergency services to facilitate faster response times and a safer city.
Facing the homelessness, housing, and mental health crisis head-on with practical, actionable solutions. My relationship with Operation Sharing has given me insight in to the challenges faced on the frontline. That, combined with 2o years of problem-solving in industry, can help to create a real solution for housing and mental health.
Building a future for Woodstock that is sustainable, resilient, and prosperous for everyone. I can help balance development with the city’s long term ethos while creating jobs and growth that benefit residents first.
Creating an honest and accessible two-way street between the Council Chamber and your front door. I want to open the channel of communication for citizen feedback before votes happen to build a municipal government that feels like it belongs to you.
